Even as their membership is shrinking the DSA is still the top association in direct selling and works closely with direct selling corporate to make sure their *202 members needs are met. Acting as direct selling’s political lobbying arm in the 2008 elections, the DSA flexed its political muscle in an effort to keep direct selling voices heard in Washington, DC. In 2010 the DSA celebrates its 100th anniversary.
